Sustainability is at the heart of the Premier Digital Textile supply chain. As your business partner we are committed to providing responsibly sourced, ethical fabrics for your commercial use wherever possible.
We believe in doing our bit to help create a more sustainable world, and we work closely with our mills and suppliers, to provide eco-conscious certified cotton and recycled polyester alternatives.
Premier Digital Textiles support and supply Sustainable textiles with a reduced carbon footprint, prepared using less water than conventional textiles and with reduced or no use of pesticides and growing agents. We now also offer an expanded selection of re-cycled polyester print bases.
Organic Textiles
As practitioners in the Textile and Fashion supply chains we all have a part to play in reducing the pollution of the past. At Premier Digital Textiles we not only lead the market in Textile innovations, but we also strive to do so ethically, and with less damage to our environment for a sustainable future. One way in which we are tackling climate change is through our Organic Textile range.
Organic Textiles, by definition; are fabrics made from fibres which originate from crops which have been responsibly grown without pesticides or growing agents. The way in which Organic Textiles are cultivated has a big impact on the environment. Farmers are regulated and must use natural growth methods such as composting, to grow their crops and, in doing so, create a healthier soil by reducing the need for irrigation and so retaining water and nutrients for sustained growth.
Recycled Polyester
Polyester is a synthetic polymer made from PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate). Recycled Polyester defines a fabric made from fibres which have been recovered by re-processing PET plastic waste, such as bottles and packaging. The waste is diverted from landfills and incineration and recycled back into the textile supply chain.
Premier Digital Textiles, through our range of re-cycled Polyester fabrics, are committed to the circular supply of Polyester, and continue to develop ground breaking textiles and new fabric blends utilising rPET (Re-cycled Polyester).
Recycled Cotton
Recycled cotton fabrics are made from yarns spun from fibres recovered from textile waste, such as discarded garments and home furnishings.
Using recycled cotton reduces the consumption of virgin fibres, thereby reducing water and chemicals used in production, as well as CO2 emissions, and other negative impacts on our planet caused by cotton farming.
Recycling Cotton promotes the circular economy by diverting waste currently going into landfill. Whilst working towards a more sustainable economy, we are launching a Recycled Cotton fabric which will be included in our Essentials Range.

The Better Cotton Initiative
We are proud to offer a range of fabrics woven using cotton sourced under the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI).
The BCI brings together the cotton community and helps develop Better Cotton as a mainstream commodity.
It is a global approach that helps farmers to grow cotton in a way that reduces stress in the local environment and improves the livelihoods and welfare of farming communities allowing for the development of a more sustainable commodity.

We are GOTS compliant under soil association inspection and assessment. This means that we are certified to sell approved organic products under the GOTS licence.

Repreve®
REPREVE® is a branded performance fiber that is made using recycled materials, including one time use plastic bottles.
Rather than allowing these bottles to be added to the billions of plastic bottles that go into landfill every year, REPREVE® transform these bottles into a fibre that can be used in many everyday applications, such as home interiors, sportswear as well as the fashion industry. REPREVE® emits fewer greenhouse gases and conserves water and energy in the process.
